Built for a full chiropractic list

Journify gives chiropractors a diary set in 15 minute slots, an adjustment note you can finish in under a minute, and care plans and memberships that bill and refund the way you agreed with the patient.

Regulated by the GCC. Professional bodies include the BCA, the McTimoney Chiropractic Association, the SCA and the UCA.

The chiropractic pack follows within six months of launch, and until then you can start on the physiotherapy pack plus the General pack and we'll move you across when it ships.

What it does for chiropractors

Fifteen minute slots, one minute notes

A chiropractic day moves fast, so the pack sets the calendar to 15 minute slots and puts a quick check-in list on the dashboard. The adjustment note is built to be done in under a minute: subjective change, findings by segment, technique and response. That's it.

  • Listings such as Gonstead "L5 PR" are fine as free text
  • Technique picker: diversified, Gonstead, activator, drop table, McTimoney or other
  • The re-exam date is set in the report of findings, so it doesn't drift

Care plans with refunds that add up

The GCC expects a plan of care to be written down, agreed with the patient and kept under review. Journify's report of findings puts the phases, number of visits, re-exam date, costs, risks, consent and refund terms in one place. If a patient stops early, unused visits are refunded at the per-visit price in the plan, not the full single-visit price.

  • Intensive, corrective and maintenance phases
  • Monthly maintenance memberships and family plans
  • Retail such as pillows and supports, billed and taxed separately

Reassessment the new Code expects

Since 1 January 2026 the GCC Code asks you to record progress, reassess formally at regular intervals using recognised outcome measures, and record consent when the plan changes. The re-exam template repeats your key measures so you can see what's moved. And the record shows you what's missing before anyone else spots it.

  • A record checklist based on the GCC's 2026 Confidentiality Guidance
  • Posture photo grids with a plumb line and landmarks
  • An IR(ME)R justification and exposure record if you take X-rays

Who pays, and how it's billed

Mostly self-pay adults, many on care plans or monthly memberships, with some private medical insurance and cash plans. Treatment by a GCC-registered chiropractor is VAT exempt, while retail such as pillows and supports, and medico-legal reports, are standard-rated.

Questions from chiropractors

What happens if a patient cancels a care plan halfway?

Journify works out the refund. It takes the unused visits at the per-visit price written into the plan, unless the plan says otherwise, so the figure matches what you and the patient signed up to.

Can patients book themselves in?

Yes. The booking widget goes on your own website, and you can take a deposit from new patients through your own Stripe account. If they cancel online in good time, the deposit is refunded automatically, or kept as credit if you prefer.

Can I join at launch if the chiropractic pack isn't ready?

Yes. You'd start on the physiotherapy pack, which already has body charts, red-flag screens and insurer billing, plus the General pack. When the chiropractic pack ships, within six months of launch, we move you across and keep everything you've changed.

Does it do Healthcode?

Healthcode e-billing is in our second phase, aimed at August 2028, and it's optional for chiropractic. Insurer-ready invoices and cash-plan receipts work from launch.
